Founder

Harrison Smith

I'm a marine biologist and marine environmental consultant working at the interface of ecology, acoustics, data science and offshore renewable energy.

Through Halicho Marine, I help clients interpret underwater acoustic recordings and turn monitoring data into robust ecological evidence.

I hold a First Class BSc in Marine Biology and an MSc in Offshore Renewable Energy from the University of Plymouth. My specialist work focuses on underwater grey seal vocalisations, spectrogram and audio review, call-type structure, statistical analysis, environmental relationships and careful ecological interpretation.

Applied

Experience in offshore renewable energy, environmental assessment, stakeholder engagement and monitoring design.
